The stepping stones that move us through our early existence and onward are monumental for the ways in which we will live our life, a pathway that is uniquely ours, and therein sets in stone the unconscious patterns by which we will live until we face them head on and consciously choose otherwise to remove this potentially hardened veil. This stone veil of sorts, our unconscious life patterns, are merely facades, illusions that we create very early on in our existence, separating us from who we really are, and from the relaxation and rest we seek in life.
It’s often when we are in some kind of life crisis that we may be more willing to consider alternative ways of perceiving the dynamics of our past and present experiences, to essentially lean into the lessons that nudge at us. It’s at these times of feeling at our lowest that we may eventually release our defensive stronghold by gently manuevering our way through. We may believe that our unyielding behavioral patterns and the experiences we continue to attract in life are truly set in stone, impenetrable to change, but the accurate truth is that as we bring focused awareness to what happened for us by way of our earliest woundings and the pattern-threaded string of woundings thereafter, and dare to feel into our buried feelings, the stoned veils may likely begin to weaken and lose their weighted energy and tenacious hold.
Some may struggle with the mere mention of karma or past-life experiences. Part of humanness is our limitation of languaging. We think we’ve identified something just because we have attached a name to it, though we may have only just touched the surface. We may quickly jump to negate the authenticity of these words, karma or past-life experiences, given our perceptions and beliefs, and yet, no one can diminish or deny the power of another’s regressive experience and/or the healing impacts that arise from being more aware of the specific stepping stones in one’s backstory. Whatever we may call it, whether it be karma, past-life experience or some other name, its rich contents are all about the ways in which we deeply identify with the wounding experience within the storylines, the means by which we carry these early scripts, perceptions and beliefs about ourselves forward into our current experiences, and the lessons that are so keenly revealed from what may be very early times. It’s from these lessons that incredible healing may be realized and experienced within us. Blessings with these gentle manueverings.
